La Push beach originally was a private beach that wasn't meant for wandering tourists, but over the years it became more popular, especially with the Twilight reference. Now anyone can visit the first beach, second beach, and third beach all situated on the Quileute reservation.

La Push Beach 1 As La Push Beach is so long and broken up, it consists of three beaches! All unimaginatively named (but stunning). The first beach is situated by La Push; sometimes, it's simply called "La Push Beach." Cabins dot the shores of La Push Beach It's easy to reach from the town, and there's a parking lot right by the sands.

Arguably one of the most scenic beaches on the entire Pacific Coastline of the United States, the tide pools, numerous stacks, and Quillayute Needles of La Push's Second Beach are exactly what most visitors hope to see when visiting Olympic National Park. From the parking area off of La Push Road it's a 0.7-mile one-way jaunt on a well-maintained trail through Pacific Northwest coastal forest.

First Beach in La Push has the largest driftwood I've ever seen. I LIVE on a driftwood beach in Washington but it's nothing like this one. One piece was 3 times as tall as my 6 ft. spouse. There were surfers in the big waves which was interesting to watch. Of course they had full-body wetsuits on, as it's cold.
